Welcome Studes!

So you're a student now!

Firstly congratulations on becoming a student and starting your Midwifery training. We know that the course can be very demanding out on placement as well as at university, so we have tried to provide you with some useful resources to help get you through the course!

We often see the same information asked again and again on our forum, so we are going to use this 'Students' section to provide the answers to the questions most commonly asked plus more! So what do we have to offer you? Let's see...

What will you need for the course? Our members compiled a little list of things that they think are essential whilst studying the Midwifery degree at university, click here to see if your list tallies with ours!

Also we have put together a selection of 'idiot guides' (doesn't mean you're an idiot!!) for basic stuff that people forget, so browse through them and refresh your memory by clicking here!

Essays, oh how I dislike them! Essay writing can be a real bug-bear to some so our helpful members have put together a page of useful tips to help get you through that dreaded essay, from planning to presentation! Do you want to view those tips? Click here!

Don't forget that being a university student is hard, let alone a Midwifery one! If you need to rant or rave then come to our forum and share it with us, you'll probably find more than one of us has been in the same situation. So remember you're not alone!

To browse the student section you can use the links above but don't forget there are more resources available to you! Use the links on the left under the 'Students' heading to navigate and there is a wealth of information in our forum!
