It's hard deciding on what route to take to get into midwifery, if you can't go direct to university because you don't have enough qualifications then explore some pre-course study options which we have provided here. These pre-course options are not by any means the only routes into midwifery, but just a selection we have chosen to talk about. Use the links on the left to view a bit more information about each option, the content of which has been written by our users. Of course you should still check the organisations' own websites for more detailed information and how to sign up to the course, to bring you one step closer to achieving your goal of becoming a midwife!
Select from the left either the Open University or Distance Learning Centre.
Options not detailed here include Access Courses or A-Levels at your local Further Education college. Contact your local college for more information. |
