Outstanding and innovative midwifery was celebrated at the 2010 RCM awards yesterday.

Presenting the awards, which were held at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, was the RCM’s Patron HRH the Princess Royal.

General Secretary of the RCM Cathy Warwick hosted the ceremony, which acknowledged and highlighted the exceptional midwives and their achievements. Below are the award categories and winners.
