Welcome to The Midwifery Sanctuary, we have plenty for you to do!
If you are just starting on your midwifery journey and would like to know more about what the midwifery course involves, or if you want a definition of a midwife's role, you can view our outline of the midwifery degree and how it is generally structured, or read what our members think a midwife's role is. You can also ask our members directly by joining our midwifery community and ask those who have applied to the degree, are currently studying or those who have already qualified!
Are you currently a midwifery student and need help with writing essays? We have put together a list of our top essay writing tips to help you along with the bundles of essays that you need to get through! If you are stuck for labour positions view our gallery of different labour positions for the early labour stage, back labour and pushing positions!

Once you have qualified you enter a whole different ball game, you now need to prepare for those job interviews but first you need to find a job and sell yourself! To get yourself an interview you will usually need to write a CV and send it in, if you're not an expert on writing a CV or don't know what to include, don't worry - use our guide to help you along. As you have only recently qualified I doubt you will have much experience on applying for a midwifery job but, get the low down with how to prepare for a job interview and job interview questions!
It's not all work and no play though - we have many fun features to keep you entertained, our extremely popular midwifery forum where all sorts of topics are discussed and debated, our live chatroom where you can have real time natter with fellow members or join in with a live quiz, there is also the photo gallery so you can browse or upload your favourite pictures to share with everyone, blogs, competitions plus so much more! |
